Your first session begins with a thorough assessment of your specific concern, your Traditional Chinese Medicine pattern, and a discussion of your individualized treatment plan. Acupuncture needles are then applied in the gentle, precise style Michele is known for.
Acupuncture works with cumulative effect, so consistency will be the key to great results. Still, most people report a sense of relaxation and wellbeing after the initial 1-3 treatments.
When appropriate, cupping or gua sha will be included to enhance your treatment results.

The cool touch of real jade gua sha tools gently move stagnant lymph to help naturally detoxify while calming inflammation.
The addition of cupping or gua sha (with a smooth porcelain tool) on targeted areas of the body provides a deeper therapeutic treatment, clearing stagnation and inflammation, while increasing blood flow to areas of concern.
